So here's my bare face, very little redness where there's no spots or large pores. This is basically showing you what my skin looked like before I put the mask on my skin.
Now, this is the product just put on my face. I can't knock the smell, it smells very clean and cleansing and I was sold when I smelt it in store. It also dries quite quickly which I liked at the time. I blame fotor for the cross in the top right hand corner -.-
This is the mask when dry. It seemed to move away from blackheads, which I found kind of strange If anything, I thought it'd target that area. It was only around 4 minutes in that I felt my face begin to burn, which at first use I kind of just ignored because I thought that was my face just tightening. Turns out that I was wrong. Can you see the redness under the mask on the left picture? Side note - I already used this mask once before, but I couldn't get good pictures of the aftermath so I'm using it one last time to show you the damage.
And here's what I looked like once I'd taken the mask off.
I look like Batman with a moustache. It's like I've had goggles on my eyes.
And here I am practically screaming at the pain. This left my face so so sore and the more of it I removed, the sorer my skin became. Now, for somebody with sensitive skin, it would have been easy to assume that I just had a bad reaction, right? Wrong. When I first used this, my friend Kathryn and my little sister Kayla both used it too. Their faces were just as bad as mine. I'm not sure if this is some sort of crazy coincidence but I don't rate this product at all. I wish I could sit here and tell you how wonderful my experience was with this mask and that I recommend it entirely, but to be honest this post is here to advise you NOT to buy it. My skin went down after about 30/60 minutes, and after it had gone down it did feel somewhat soft. It's not worth the hassle though, honestly.
Before&After:
Exposure on the burn:
I'd be really interested to know if you have tried this mask and how it worked for you. Know anybody who had the same issue? It's not too much of a fuss if you consider it was around £2, but it still managed to burn my sister, my best friend and myself so hey.
x
So this literally just happened to me with the same product. Weirder yet is that I've used this before with no reaction. Now it looks like I've been badly sunburned!
