Hey! So, a lot has happened with the fish since I last posted. First up, our baby is pregnant. Yup. Filthy, insectrial Balloon Mollies. As I write this, she is due to have her babies any time now.

Baby Fish Update - They're alive and kicking!
Currently, there are four babies alive and swimming around. We know for a fact that three of them will live but there's one tiny one that hasn't grown much and only swims around the bottom. He always rests on the rocks and seems to lean on one side a lot, so we think he might have some sort of swimming disability or broken bones or something. There may be hope for him yet though :) The other three swim around, chase each other, scavenge food and come up to the glass to say hi all of the time now! They still look tiny, but they've grown a heck of a lot considering the size they were when we first found out they were in the tank. Here's a video I took about two weeks ago of them:

Baby Fish Update
Anyone who has read my first post on fishes will know that my little sister's Balloon Molly gave birth to around 10 or so fishes. Here's an update on how they're doing! :)
We are down to 5 fishes currently, but that's assuming that all are accounted for. They rarely come out of hiding these days and nobody is too sure why. We think it's down to the Mother fish being a bully and stealing the majority of the food - greedy bugger! We (as far as we are aware) have:
- Two orange ones with black tails
- One orange one
- One black one which is turning grey (it also has a little white belly which is adorable)
- One white and salmony-pinky coloured one - we had no idea this little guy existed until we had to open up the filter. Two of the fish swam into it (again) and we had to open it up. Then right beside that we saw the white one swimming along the gravel. So so cute!
We rarely see the babies any more which is sad but at least they're still alive. Here are some pictures...
See its little eyes poking out?:D
I wish they'd swim around like this more often, it's sad seeing them hiding all of the time. Soon they'll be big enough to swim around and I'll get some nice pictures of them all. I'll try and get a video up of them if they decide to come out at some point if you'd like - let me know!
