Back To School Haul!

The best part about going back to school has got to be all the new stationary (which inevitably gets lost or "borrowed") within the first two weeks. Yesterday I went shopping with my Mum for school supplies and uniform. A lot of you on the interwebs are going back to school this September too, so I thought I'd share with you what I'll be bringing with me back to school this year. Enjoy :)

There's two things wrong with this picture. One, there's a random mirror that wasn't supposed to be there, whoopsie... And two, this haul includes my new school bag, which evidently isn't in the picture. I'm not too sure how I'd get a bag in the same picture anyway... Scrap that last idea :3

Let's get down to business!

The first two pens actually came in a set of three, but one was broken in the packet. ASDA is to blame. Definitely not me. They're ordinary gel pens, nothing special. The third pen down is ACTUALLY FOUR PENS IN ONE - was anybody else one of those children that saw people with these kinds of pens and never got one? Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm now the proud owner of one.
The last pen isn't actually one I purchased, therefore I don't know if I'm abiding by the laws of hauls, BUT ITS SO PRETTY; LOOK AT IT! I won it in an arcade in Brean with my oh so fabulous skills. I'll definitely be taking this bad boy to school!

These six mechanical pencils came in a set together. You push up a tiny piece of lead by clicking the end of the pencil. Did anyone else as a kid click these over and over to see how long they could get the lead to go? I know I did. If you never have - don't. The lead WILL snap. The end of the pencil is a rubber which is real handy considering the one thing I'm great at losing is rubbers. Also, these pencils save you wasting time sharpening, which is awesome for me because I'm EXTREMELY lazy - if I need to use a pencil for something in class and that pencil in my pocket is blunt, gosh darn it, I will use a pen. Hopefully I won't lose these!

These little highlighters are so so cute, I couldn't resist picking them up! For some reason there is only one blue and three yellows, but who could complain? The adorable is strong with these ones. Highlighters are always handy, especially if you've got a lot of revision ahead of you. Moving in to Year 11, I decided it's about time I picked some up myself - and if you're moving on up too, I strongly advise you get some.

Have you ever had that one friend that always borrows your ruler? Yeah, hi, that's me. I've decided to give my classmates and teachers a break and get my own. It's all blue and pretty and I like stationary.

Now, these. THESE. THEY'RE SO KAWAII! Again with the "I've never owned these but I'm a big girl now" situation. You can't tell too much on this picture, but they are mega-pastel and oh-so-tiny which I thought would come in handy. I'm renaming it "the cube of cuteness" because, well, why ever not?

This is where I'll be storing my pens, pencils and rulers e.c.t. I'm afraid I'm guilty of not purchasing this, once again, but I can tell you where it's from. It was a gift (originally as a makeup bag, though never used as one) in a makeup set by the brand "Colour Unlimited". I'm not sure if they do these sets online, but if you're interested then you know where to look.

Time for the best part of this post, the bag! I decided to go for a large, spacious bag that would fit in my books as well as my PE kit with ease - last year I struggled immensely with the bag I was using it was simply not big enough. I like this bag purely because it's simple and easy to carry. It was only £12 from George which I personally think is brilliant - no splashing out on a £40 bag that'd probably be way too small for school anyway!

So, there we have it! Have you been school shopping yet? Or are you leaving it until last minute like my family usually does? Drop a comment and let me know!
