Boots Makeup Haul

Hi there! So just Monday gone I went shopping at Boots and picked up a few items as my Mum had a 'spend £30 and get 300 points' voucher that she didn't need and was going to expire this Sunday. I had planned what I was going to buy from looking at the website but in the end I didn't follow what I was going for. Typical of me, right? I bought 7 items in total and it all came to under £35 which I'm over the moon about because two of the products alone should've came to around £25. Don't stress yourself over how that works, just know that many vouchers came into play.

First off, I got the No7 Match Perfect Concealer. I cannot even express how happy I am to have had my skin matched. The kind lady at the No7 counter (I don't know her name but she was lovely and sweet so bless her soul) pulled out this snazzy little black machine that looked a little like one of those exfoliating brushes for your face that rotate. Excuse me for forgetting what they're called. Sonicleanse? Soniclear? Something like that! So yeah she put the machine of knowledge to my jaw and then did the other side and announced I was the shade 'Cool Vanilla' which sounded SO SASSY AT THE TIME. I grabbed the concealer and then went on the hunt for my No7 Bronzing Duo compact thing because I've been needing a lighter bronzer as well as a matte one.

Next, I searched for the 'Maybelline Fit Me Foundation' in the lightest shade, but for some reason Boots didn't have it. My mum was telling me to just get the No7 Stay Perfect but I was so hesitant because it was pricier than what I'd usually spend. I decided to get at it, take the plunge and I picked that up instead.

Also, I wanted to try out the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I have the Clear Complexion one but it's pretty broken now so I thought why not try something else?

I went to the counter and my total - somehow - did not come to £30, so off to Barry M I went to go grow my nail polish collection. Of course, they were 3 for 2 so I picked up 3 of them.

Eventually, it all came to under £35 and I got a ton of products as well as finding my new favourite foundation!

Here are a few pictures, I'll list prices below!

  • No7 Match Made Concealer - £7.50
  • No7 Perfectly Bronzed Duo Bronzer - £12
  • No7 Stay Perfect Foundation - £14.50
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - £3.99
  • Barry M Nail Paint - £2.99 each
Now that I think about it, I saved so much money all together and I can't believe how impressed I am with all of these products. Have you heard about the new No7 Match Made lip service? If not, go read up about it. It sounds amazing and I look forward to using that in the future too!

Thanks for reading, if you've experienced the match made service then let me know in the comments how it went for you. If you haven't, I strongly suggest you try it. There are cheaper No7 foundations that use the Match Made service so you can pick whatever is more suitable for your budget :)

  1. I've never used No7 concealor or been matched before, but I love their skincare & have that typical '£3 off make up' voucher so I may give it a go! Love your haul x
