November Favourites & Exciting News!

IT'S DECEMBER!!! It feels like yesterday since I wrote that post on how excited I've been for Christmas in all honesty, and now it's the moooost wonderful tiiiiime of the yeeeaaaar! November has come and gone, and so I thought I'd do a favourites post. PS - my little sister Kayla made the cake roll in the picture above :)
American Horror Story
Okay, so American Horror Story. It's actually brilliant and that's pretty much all I can say besides this... Evan Peters is my future husband. How does April Peters sound? I blame Kathryn for introducing me to this because I'm already half way through season 3. So far, I'd have to say season 1 has been the best. I really like the theme tune to it too, at first it was weird but now I dance with it. Wanna go insane? Type in dominique american horror story into Youtube. The song will just. Okay just go listen to it PLEASE.

Amazon
I've been ordering a lot of Christmas presents for my friends and boyfriend and Amazon has been a very very big help! I get so excited waiting for parcels, honestly it's like Christmas has come early and I'm waiting for MY presents xD

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1
So I've waited for this film for a long time and it was so so worth it. I was told that there was more action than storyline which usually I don't like, but this. THIS. My tears were just everywhere and I looked rather silly but it was insanely emotional. It couldn't have been left on a more heartbreaking scene. I need the movie on DVD now, so any time they want to release that, you know, that'd be greeeaaaatttt.

Fall Out Boy
If you've ever watched Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters, you've heard Fall Out Boy. I've always loved their song in Percy Jackson (My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark), but I never knew that it was Fall Out Boy. I did my research into who sung this heavenly song, then stumbled upon this band. I couldn't not include them in this post as they have just been my go to band lately.

L'oreal Touche Magique Concealer
This stuff is brilliant for school. It doesn't crease, highlights and conceals under-eye circles pretty darn well considering its consistency and it's blendable. When I'm being lazy in the mornings (which is all of the time lately) I'll literally just go into school with this on to wake me up a bit. I ran out of it today.. Whoops.

Flash Cards
So I don't have pictures of the flash cards (I felt a little silly taking pictures of my notes) but these have been a big aid to me when I had my mock exams in the beginning of November - which by the way, I aced pretty much. PAP PAP! They also helped with my very much real Spanish speaking and writing exams, which I got 2 As in my speaking exams and 2 A*s in my writing exams which is 60% of my Spanish GCSE done :) Even better news though... I had my first interview for college this month, and thanks to my grades I got in!!! I owe it all to the flash cards basically xD I'm so happy about it, now all that's left to do is study for the rest of my exams in May. Trust me to be born in the main examination month -.-

Nail File
I've been into growing my nails and filing them this month, and so my nail file (which has currently been misplaced somewhere) has obviously been of use to me.

Lush
If you read my last post, you'll know that Lush has become a slight obsession. By obsession, I don't mean I'm spending loads of money in Lush (though the only thing preventing that is my lack of money and my Mum), but what I mean by obsession is that I'm almost always on the website or looking in their booklet of products. Window shopping, essentially. I do this with Yankee Candle too, so bet you can guess whether or not that'll be in this month's favourites.

Yankee Candle
Bet you guessed right. I've been 'window shopping' online with these too, but not for me. These are for my friends because I really think they make great Christmas presents!

The Maze Runner
Last month's favourites post (or at least I think it was last month's) I wrote about The Maze Runner Movie. Of course, after that I read the book. My Mum has seen me cry to loads of books, but I was crying so loud to this that she could hear me over the hairdryer. You'll come to realise that I'm a very emotional person when it comes to my fandoms, and so this was just ugh. I would've taken a picture of the book itself but Kat has it back now soooo, yeah.

Sleeping With Sirens - Kick Me
This is a new song they released this month of a new album they will be releasing next year (or so I've been told...don't quote me on that one). I'm going to see them in concert in apRIL WHICH IS ONLY FOUR MONTHS AWAY OH MY GODasgfdhj. I can't begin to describe how amazing this is going to be live, the atmosphere and everything will just be amazing. If you're into alternative music, give SWS a shot.

Christmas Preparation
Our decorations are up, the tree is up, and we have candy canes. Can you believe I'd never tasted a candy cane up until now? Crazy. I'm never usually excited for Christmas but this year I'm in the most festive mood possible. I've been singing Christmas songs on Skype with my boyfriend James, singing Christmas songs with Kathryn in the middle of the playground, singing Chirstmas songs with my little sister the minute we wake up for school... Am I too old for a chocolate calender? I think not. Merry early Christmas, everyone!
