- It's medium coverage and quite buildable. It feels thin but covers quite well, and it is indeed a fair amount buildable. This is good for me because I'm a very pale missy who can't have too much foundation on without it being obvious - also, when I get a breakout, the redness is real. The fact that I can apply a little product and get a lot of coverage really makes me happy. My shade is NC15 and is the slightest bit dark, but it's the closest match I've found to my skin so far. All I have to do is take it down the neck slightly and buff buff buff.
- Linked to the previous point, it's thin. The consistency is quite liquidy but not like water. I feel like these foundations tend to feel quite sticky on the face, but this one doesn't. It dries on the face to quite a satin finish, which I like.
- It has quite an antiseptic smell. To me it smells like cleaning agent (which scared me at first) but the smell goes away after applicatioin.
- It lasts a good few hours. I don't powder my face because it gets quite dry at the best of times (especially on my nose), so the fact that it lasted without being set was great.
- It doesn't work well with the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. I'm not sure if it's the primer or the foundation, but my pores just look X10 bigger when both are used together.
I'll try and get round to doing a full review on the product in a few weeks when I've used it every day!
