Cassie (incase you didn't know) runs a channel and blog called Blogilates. She does monthly calenders telling you which videos to complete on which days. She also has a beginner's calender, which is the one I've been following. Every day I've been working out to at least 3 of Cassie's videos, and I've strangely enough become dependent on them. It's amazing how you can go from burning one minute, to feeling alive and energetic the next.
Anyway, here are my top 6 videos from Blogilates so far:
- 6 Mins to Sexy Arms - I didn't know you could burn so much in 6 minutes, especially without weights! I really struggle with push ups (which are clearly a brilliant way to tone up the arms), so this video is just perfect. When I first tried this, I was pacing around my room practically screaming at myself not to give up.
- Fat Burning Cardio Warmup - I hate cardio. This video makes it more fun, and it gets your body warmed up and ready to tackle whatever is next. I feel like this video was the one that eased me into the level of intensity that comes with Cassie's workouts.
- Fat Burning Ladder for Toned Thighs and Sculpted Abs - Absolutely yes. It's basically toning with a little cardio thrown in for good measure. You complete the 4 moves, 45 seconds each, then you get a 10 second break. Then you do 30 seconds of each, then a break. Then 20 seconds of each, then you're done. I absolutely LOVE the concept of a ladder. It really keeps me motivated and encourages me not to pause for a break.
- ABC Abs! - I was sore for daaaays after this video. For the first section, you have to hold an ab position whilst creating the letters of the alphabet with your arms, doing each letter until Cassie thinks of a healthy food beginning with that letter. THEN (that's right, it doesn't end) you have to do the same thing with your legs (like leg lifts basically) until Cassie thinks of a YOLO food. Genius? Hell yeah.
- 6 Mins to Sexy Abs - Again, the 6 minute videos just hit you hard. If you haven't noticed by now, I really enjoy focusing on the abdominal area. The 6 minute videos just work well around my school work and revision because I can just whip out my mat and do them.
- Feel Good Soul Stretches - These stretches are gorgeous. If ever I'm having a really rubbish day, I just stick this video on, focus the fan in my room on my face and pretend I'm at the beach stretching. It's seriously a feel-good video.
Like I said, this is part of my daily routine now. I definitely feel a lot stronger, healthier and happier for it too. I'm loving this new addition to each day, and I can wholeheartedly say that Cassie is such an inspirational woman.

Wow! Awesome job! I've tried Cassie's videos before and have really struggled to stick with them everyday. They certainly are a workout!

I know right? They're so so hard to complete all the way through. It's totally okay to pause the video and have a minute break if you can't go on any longer - heck, I've had to do that quite a lot. You should join in on the February calender or do the beginners calender. New month, ey?:P
