TAG: Would You Rather - Beauty Edition

Heeeey there! I have a problem. I'm currently experiencing what all of you fellow bloggers out there call "writers' block". Words are failing me right now so I thought maybe it'd be better for me to just take a step back and write a nice, laid back post. I figured you all don't really know much about me , and considering this blog surrounds beauty in general - why not write a get to know me 'Beauty Edition' post?
PS: Cheeky me wasn't tagged by anybody to do this, but that's okay... Right?

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

This is a pretty easy one for me to be honest. I personally feel like my makeup is never complete without mascara. It's that one item that I can't be without; if I'm wearing eyeshadow, I need mascara. If I'm wearing eyeliner, I need mascara. If I'm just wearing foundation, I need mascara. Plus, I cannot be without lipstick, you cray cray or something? Defo would rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Hmm, I'd say never cut it again. Imagine having a hairdresser braid your hair like Rapunzel in Tangled or Elsa in Frozen? Ahhh!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Pink. I'm not too good with colours out of my comfort zone - so I'd want a blush that mimics the colour my cheeks naturally flush.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Oh god! Okay, now does clothes involve whole outfits like shoes included? That probably sounds really dumb. Oh deary me okay I don't know. I feel like makeup is so much fun to shop for and I love repurchasing products too. Makeup, there, I said it. I think I'm the only person that has ever said makeup over clothes.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Eyeliner as lipstick. Lipstick as eyeliner would be too much for me to handle if I'm honest. Whereas eyeliner as lipstick... Well, I have a bit of a gothic streak in me so even though I'm not bold enough to wear black lips, it's the decision I'd be more comfortable with. Who knows, maybe my pale skin would compliment it.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

MAC. I know more about MAC than Sephora due to me living in England where there is no Sephora. Fun Fact - I've never been out of England.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

One lip colour. You can always change a look with eye makeup (e.g. smoky eye), yet if you're stuck with one eyeshadow colour then I don't feel it'd be ideal for situations like parties or meals.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

Summer clothes in winter. I CANNOT cope when I'm too warm. I get tense and snappy and I feel smothered. 

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Dark nails :)

10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?

No! Don't do this to me! Oh Jeeeeesus. Okay, I'd rather give up my favourite lip product. I'm cool with my own lip colour I guess. It pains me so much though, I love my lipsticks.  

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

Messy bun, but I must have my side-fringe down!

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

Never use lipgloss. I rarely use it anyway now that I'm more into lipsticks. Painting my nails is a therapeutic thing for me and I'm not too keen on the way my nails look bare anyway.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

Sharpie them on. I cannot physically picture myself without eyebrows (my number one insecurity is my forehead, so increasing the size of it via eyebrow loss is too much). I reckon if I spent a while on it, I could get kind of good at being accurate with the sharpie and make them look kind of natural? That being said, I don't really do anything with my brows anyway besides plucking them every now and again. Yeah, the sharpie option.

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Live without nailpolish. Hands down.


There. I thought this post would be a nice, relaxed post. Now I'm imagining a world without eyebrows and lipstick and clothes. I hope you all enjoy the mental image of me shivering in the winter with sharpie eyebrows and hideous cuticles! Hahaha no in all honesty I did enjoy writing this post.
