In preparation for Christmas day, Kayla and I decided to decorate a swiss roll and bake cookies. She watches Zoella a lot (like most of us) and so wanted to turn these cookies into melted snowmen like in her video. My God, were they delicious.
After adding way too much flour to combat the grease of the vanilla extract (which I also added way too much of), we finally cut the cookies!
Casually making icing whilst the cookies are in the oven, as you do.Now, Christmas Day!
The only piece of jewellery I wore besides the earrings was this cross my boyfriend brought me for Christmas - thanks, James!x
Now, bearing in mind that I've been on antibiotics and off school ill, my skin doesn't look half bad in this picture. Real life is another matter though!
We were just leaving for my Nan's house and I had to snap a pic of the fishes - oh, by the way... We have a little catfish in there now. I completely forgot to take pictures of him. He hides within the rocks in the middle. They're nocturnal and so he only comes out at night, but he's beautiful. I WILL GET PICTURES.
Oh hai there new speaker for April, didn't see ya there. The rest of the day was spent with my uncle's gorgeous dog, Troy. I miss him already!
I hope you had a really fantastic Christmas! It's a relief to have Christmas done with for the year now, all of that excitement was killing me. It snowed today (Boxing Day) in Birmingham - typical. Not Christmas Day, oh noooooo. That'd be too easy. Let me know in the comments what you got for Christmas, I might do a post on my favourite presents or something. I don't know. Anyway, until next year, Christmas!
