2015 Mini Lush Haul

Hey there! So I ordered a couple of things off of the Lush UK website on the 30th and they arrived today. This was my first time ordering off of Lush so I didn't know how good they were with delivery, but they estimated 3-5 working days and I received them today - the 3rd. Even though I'd been dying to get my hands on what I'd ordered, the products were delivered within the timescale given, so hey, well done Lush! It's unnatural how excited I get waiting for things to come in the post and so the fact that I could track my order with Royal Mail... Well, it didn't help the situation. To any of you guys who managed to order off of Lush during the Boxing Day Sales, well, I hope you're enjoying all of the things I missed out on xD Anyway, here's what I ordered!

Twilight Bath Bomb - £3.35
Twilight contains lavender and ylang ylang oil to help relax you and help you sleep - the main reason I chose it. I feel like I need something around incase I feel restless about exams or something like that. I'm very excited to try this one - the website says that it'll change from sunset looking to deep purple in the water. I personally think it smells quite earthy which wasn't what I expected, but there is a hint of lavender in there.

Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb - £3.35
This bomb contains mainly cocoa, shea and cinnamon which are good for moisturising the skin and lifting your mood. I have quite dry skin - and again - come exam time, I'll need a few pamper evenings. This bomb will be a pleasure, I'm sure. The water is said to turn purple and green, as well as shimmery (which I hope doesn't transfer onto my skin xD) and smells to me quite spiced - the cinnamon is all I can smell.

Karma Bubble Bar - £3.25
Karma contains many fresh oils such as pine, lemongrass and elemi, but the one that stands out to me is sweet orange oil. The bubble bar smells very citrusy and fresh, making it good for days where I want a little pick-me-up, again - come exam time - this will cheer me up and put me in a brighter mood (I hope). I must admit, I did expect it to be bigger than what it was, so bare that in mind when buying this one.

Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb(x2) - £6.70
I chose this bomb for two reasons. One, the ingredients mentioned. Two, the gorgeous display in the bath - watch this video if you've never seen this bomb at work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWG9UBbRbqI
Granny Takes A Dip contains lemon oil, black pepper oil and ginger oil to "pep you up" as the website says. You get the theme of bath bombs and bubble bars here. I can indeed smell the lemon and pepper - very warm and calming. By the way, I ordered two because my little sister wanted one :)

Amandopondo Bubble Bar - £2.75
Finally, we have Amandopondo. This contains rose absolute, lemon oil and sweet orange oil for "a feeling of well-being and cheerfulness". There's a real rose bud on the top too, which I found really quite cute. It looks simple, but I'm still excited to try it! I can smell the rose and lemon in it - I'd say it's the most calming scent out of all of the above.

I hope you all had a lovely new year!

x
